How this site is paid
Effective date: 22 September 2026
Vertex Space carries advertising in the form of paid links. This page explains which links are paid, who pays, what the payment is for, what it influences, and what it does not influence. It is linked from the footer of every page and from beside every paid link on the site.
Which links are paid
One product is covered in detail on this site: Enlisted. Links pointing to that product's sign-up address are paid links. They appear on the home page and on the entry page, and each one carries a note beside it saying so.
Every other link on this site is unpaid. That includes the links to Australian government bodies, the link to the game vendor's own website, and every link between pages here. No money changes hands for any of them, and no one has asked for them to be included.
Who pays, and for what
The payment comes from an advertising network acting for the advertiser. When a reader opens a paid link from this site, registers an account, confirms the email address and launches the game for the first time, the network records that sequence and pays NIKOM CONSTRUCT s.r.o. a commission for it.
Three consequences follow, and they are the parts readers most often want to know.
- The reader pays nothing extra. The commission comes out of the advertiser's marketing budget. A reader who reaches the vendor by typing its address into a browser pays exactly the same as one who arrives from here.
- The payment is for a registration, not a sale. This publisher receives no share of anything bought inside a game, at any time. There is no version of the spending guide that earns this site more money.
- The payment is for the action, not the outcome. Nothing here depends on a reader enjoying the game, continuing to play it, or spending in it.
What the arrangement does and does not decide
It decides that Enlisted is covered at all. That is the honest answer, and it is stated on the about page as well: the commercial arrangement is what put a formal, attributable product description in this publisher's hands, and the method does not permit an entry to be written without one. A site claiming that its paid coverage was selected on merit alone, while covering only the product it is paid for, would be describing itself inaccurately.
It does not decide what the entry says. The nine checks were fixed before the entry was drafted and apply identically to anything covered later. Five of them are recorded as unanswered by the advertiser's description, and they are published in a table on the entry page rather than omitted. The advertiser does not see pages before publication, cannot request changes, and has no mechanism for removing an unfavourable line.
It does not decide the order of anything. There is one entry, so there is no ranking to distort; if a second arrangement is ever added, both entries will carry the same disclosure and the order of coverage will be stated on the method page before either is published.
How paid links are marked
Disclosure appears in three places, deliberately:
-
In the upper part of the home page
Above the first paid link, in ordinary body text rather than small print, and not hidden behind a control that has to be opened.
-
Immediately beside every paid link
Each paid button carries a note directly beneath it, on every page where one appears.
-
On this page
Linked from the footer of every page on the site, for the full explanation.
How the links behave technically
This matters to some readers and to anyone reviewing the site, so it is stated exactly.
- Each paid link points directly at the advertiser's address. What your browser shows when you hover over the link is where you will be taken.
- There is no intermediate page on this domain, no redirect, no meta refresh and no interstitial of any kind.
- No script rewrites the destination of a link at the moment it is clicked. The site's only script handles the menu, and it is readable in full at /assets/main.js.
- Paid links are marked in the page source with
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"and open in a new tab. - The site sets no cookie for attribution. Any tracking of a referral is done by the advertising network at its own address, under its own policies, after you leave this site.
- Every visitor sees the same page. Nothing on this site changes according to where a visitor came from, what browser they use, or which country they are in.
If the arrangement ends
The paid links would be removed and the entry would stay, with a line recording that the arrangement had ended and when. An entry that disappeared the moment it stopped earning money would show that it had never been a description in the first place.
Questions about this
Questions about the arrangement, including from advertisers, regulators or readers who think a disclosure is not prominent enough, go to info@vertexspace.online. Complaints about advertising practices in Australia can also be raised with the ACCC, which administers Australian Consumer Law.
